The Briller Viertel (Briller District) in Wuppertal, with its magnificent Gründerzeit (Wilhelminian style) architecture, showcases a rare and visually striking ensemble of villas and buildings from the Industrial Era. This remarkable architecture reflects a golden age when Wuppertal was renowned as a hub of industry and prosperity. Through my work, I have sought to capture the historical elegance and unique charm of the Gründerzeit period, reinterpreting it in a contemporary way.
